(Really, not exciting at all.)
Library
After years of procrastination I finally payed all of my debts off from overdue fines of Nancy Drew books from fourth grade. I'm starting to read Everything is Illuminated. I also got writings from Dietrich Bonhoeffer and the book A Good and Happy Child. Hopefully this will pass my time especially when I am left home while my mom is in London and Flicka in SF. The library brings too many memories of awkward junior high days, waiting until six in the evening to be picked up, eating dorritos chips and pretending to do my homework. Wow, those were the days, huh?
Lunch
We went out to for Mexican food on the lake celebrating the jobs not worked for with the money we don't have. Often I second guess our last name not to be McCollum, but really Bluth. Okay, so sitting on the lake I was thinking possibly taking up kayaking. What an enjoyable recreational activity! I like the word recreation.
Blood Donation
As a family, we convinced my mother to take us to the Red Cross to donate blood. Bad idea jeans. And a complete failed attempt to put it modestly. My mom immediately couldn't because of being in Britain in the 80's. I was the next to drop out. I was so excited to donate for the first time, a wide grin on my face eventually faded realizing the consequences of an unsterilized nose piercing experience in India. We waited for Felicity, the only healthy one to draw blood, also not being able to due to a blood clot. So, we are apparently extremely hazardous to others. The mother with mad cow disease, myself apparently HIV probable and Felicity eating too much bacon? I now have to go get tested for HIV. Good grief Charlie Brown!
Cleaning
When I was a wee lass, I used to think Meth was a cleaning product. Apparently not! So every time I clean, I have to sing this creepy, yet catchy jingle.
I will write about Arizona later. Meow!
